About Us

Grants Sawmilling Co is a family owned and operated company that originated in Lake Cargelligo, New South Wales in 1965.

The family then purchased Ganmain Sawmill in Narrandera in the early 1970’s and still operates today under that original licence that was issued in 1918.

In 1979 the family purchased our mill at Condobolin which has now been operating for some 70 years. Since that time additional resource has been secured, growing and securing the future of both our Narrandera and Condobolin sawmills.

We specialise in Australian cypress and control all processes from forestry through processing, kiln drying and eventual delivery of the finished product to our clients both in Australia and overseas. Thus ensuring best practices at all levels and consistent quality products.

We are actively involved in many industry initiatives including the NSW Forests Products Association, the ATIC quality assurance programme, the NSW Cypress Industry Strategic Plan and working with Forests NSW and the Australian Forestry Standard (AS4708). This involvement assists us to keep up with the latest trends and developments as we continue to pursue industry best practice.
